Hi, my name is Bill Doherty, and I live in the lovely county of Northumberland, an echo away from the Scottish Border.
I am a photographer of wildlife, nothing else, no sky, no sea, no portraits..just wildlife, birds and beast, mainly from my beloved county, but, sometimes venturing out from this land beyond beyond, mainly into Scotland.
All I need to steel images from lives here, and nothing gives me as much pleasure as becoming intimate with natures shy inhabitants.
I take the pictures that I like, and I hope you like what I show, and return to see others in the future as I update.
The photography equipment I use is NIKON, a D300 camera, 300mm AFS f4 Nikon lense, a Nikkor 80-400mm VR lense and a Nikon 1,4TC. I have a Nikon D200 in reserve, and a 80-300mm. So as you see I am far from being a professional, but give me a Nikon 400mm f4 or Nikon 600mm f4 and I will show you images beyond your wildest dreams, until then, please enjoy some of my better images.
